Introduction

CRTX is a wellness app that analyzes visible stress indicators from selfies. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Camera and photo access

• When you scan your face, your selfie is sent to our AI for analysis.
• Your photo is processed in real time and is NOT stored on our servers.
• The photo is deleted from our memory immediately after analysis.
• We never use your photos to train AI models.
• We never share your photos with third parties.

Data stored on your device

• Your scan history (scores and dates)
• Your quiz answers from onboarding
• Your age and gender for personalization
• Your streak data

All this data is stored ONLY on your iPhone using iOS local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers.

Subscription information

• If you subscribe to CRTX Pro, Apple processes the payment.
• We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.
• We do not see or store your payment information.

Analytics

• We collect anonymous crash reports to improve the app.
• No personal information is included in crash reports.

How we use your information

• To analyze your selfie and generate a stress score.
• To remember your preferences across app launches.
• To process subscription purchases.

Third-party services

CRTX uses:

• Anthropic Claude AI — for selfie analysis (image is sent, never stored).
• Apple App Store — for purchases.
• RevenueCat — for subscription management.

Your rights

You can:

• Delete the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
• Use the in-app “Reset” feature to clear your data.
• Cancel your subscription via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Children

CRTX is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
